Sucho-gu Holds Official YouTube Subscription Event Until June 19... Wireless Earphones, Coffee Machines, and More Given Away by Lottery
Diverse Planned Content Including ‘District Promotion Web Drama,’ ‘Seocho Country Diary,’ and ‘If You Go to Seocho’
Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho-gu: “We Will Continue to Do Our Best to Communicate with Residents through Fun and Useful Content”
Seocho-gu (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) is holding a subscription event to celebrate the 11th anniversary of its official YouTube channel, ‘Seocho-gu.’
The district is conducting the event until June 19 to repay the interest shown by subscribers of the official YouTube channel and to communicate with more citizens. Accordingly, 111 people who verify their subscription to the official YouTube channel ‘Seocho-gu’ will receive generous gifts.
Since its launch in 2012, the YouTube channel ‘Seocho-gu’ has been providing residents with interesting and informative content, breaking away from the rigid image of a public institution.
Representative content includes a ‘web drama’ that portrays various district projects in a drama format, as well as the web entertainment ‘If You Go to Seocho’ introducing hidden spots, the short movie ‘MZ Gongpis’ featuring employee YouTubers ‘Seoripul Crew,’ and the urban gardening vlog ‘Seocho Country Diary.’
In particular, the web drama ‘To You, I Am’ produced last year, which depicts the district administration and vision through the growth stories of young men and women, received a positive response with over 100,000 cumulative views.
To participate, subscribe to the YouTube channel ‘Seocho-gu,’ watch the event subscription video, then like and comment on it. Submit a screenshot of this verification along with your name and contact information via a Naver form.
The district will hold a lottery among subscribers to give away wireless earphones (1 person), coffee machines (2 people), pizza (3 people), ice cream (5 people), iced coffee (100 people), and more. Winners will be announced on the YouTube channel community on July 23.
Additionally, a surprise event is planned to give away a hair styler if the number of subscribers surpasses 10,000.
Along with this, on June 17, at the ‘Seocho Youth Music and Art Festival’ experience zone held around the Express Bus Terminal Plaza, there will be an event where subscribers to the YouTube channel can take free four-cut photo booth pictures.
Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho-gu, said, “We ask for much interest and participation in the YouTube channel and event that deliver various aspects of Seocho and district news,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to communicate with residents by presenting diverse content.”
