Busan Port Authority Hosts Local Seminar on Overseas Companies' 'Aerotake Strategy' Challenges

Relieving Export Difficulties and Management Support in East Java, Indonesia

Busan Port Authority (BPA) held a seminar to strategically support Korean companies operating in the East Java region of Indonesia.


On the 26th, BPA announced on the 27th that it jointly hosted a seminar with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) for Korean companies in East Java, Indonesia, focusing on resolving export difficulties and providing management support.

East Java is Indonesia's second largest economic zone, where many of our companies have entered mainly in the manufacturing sector. About 50 representatives of our companies in East Java attended the seminar.


At the seminar, the current increase in cases of export difficulties faced by companies due to recent changes in Indonesia's logistics and tax environment was discussed, sharing market conditions and outlooks related to shipping, ports, logistics, and taxation.


Busan Port Authority introduced cases of supporting our companies by analyzing the status of overseas business expansion for logistics support at the organizational level. It also conveyed the current status of port cooperation between Korea and Indonesia, as well as logistics support measures for Indonesian joint ventures.
