Korean Tour KB Financial Live Championship Round 2
Lee Jeonghwan Tied for Lead, Jeong Chanmin 8th, Baek Seokhyun 52nd
‘Screen Golf Champion’ Kim Minsu maintained his lead for the second consecutive day.
On the 26th, Kim Minsu shot a 3-under-par 69 in the second round of the KPGA Korean Tour KB Financial Live Championship (total prize money 700 million won) held at Blackstone Golf Club in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province (par 72, 7,270 yards), maintaining a share of the lead at 7-under-par 137. Although Kim Minsu is a dominant player with over 10 wins in screen golf tournaments, his best result in Korean Tour events since his debut in 2012 is a tie for 4th place.

Kim Minsu said, "In screen golf, variables such as distance and wind strength are displayed as numbers, so you can calculate them precisely. The actual field has too many variables, making it difficult, but field tournaments are more fun and I am more eager to compete in them than in screen golf." He added, "My shots felt great today, and if I play like this for the remaining two days, I think I can finish with a good result. My goal for this tournament is to break into the top 10."
Lee Junghwan surged with a 6-under-par round to join the group of co-leaders. Lee said, "It has been three years since I returned from military service, and I had many issues with my swing during that time. If I just play my game, I believe I can win." Bae Yongjun and Yeom Seohyun are tied for 3rd place at 5-under-par 139. Jung Chanmin, the winner of the Maekyung Open, is tied for 8th place at 3-under-par 141 as the tournament passes the halfway mark. Last week’s SK Telecom Open champion Baek Seokhyun advanced to the third round, tied for 52nd place at 4-over-par 148.
