First Broadcast of 'Dance Singer Yurangdan' on the 25th
Nationwide Viewership Rating 3.2%, Smooth Start
Singer Lee Hyori still showcased her witty charm.
On the 25th, the first broadcast of tvN's 'Dance Singers Yulangdan' ('Yulangdan') featured Kim Wan-sun, Uhm Jung-hwa, Lee Hyori, BoA, and Hwasa meeting after a long time ahead of the group's launch.
They had a 'Yulangdan' meeting in March. The members recalled their first meeting on last year's Tving show 'Seoul Check-in,' saying, "It's been a year since we last saw each other." At that time, Lee Hyori gathered the members and mentioned a nationwide tour concert, which became the starting point for the formation of 'Yulangdan.'
That day, Uhm Jung-hwa asked Lee Hyori, "Didn't you move to the agency Antenna?" and inquired, "Are you still 'Keep Going'?" Lee Hyori replied, "I even joined the agency because of this ('Yulangdan')."
BoA laughed and said, "You said you were retiring," to which Lee Hyori responded sheepishly, "I always just say I'm retiring."
Seeing this, Uhm Jung-hwa said, "Even though you say that, once you're on stage, it's no joke," and Hwasa added, "You will take everything."
Kim Wan-sun, who had performed on stage with Lee Hyori in the past, said, "She only stops when she is completely satisfied with herself," adding, "I redo it if I make a mistake, but if I don't, I just move on." Lee Hyori confessed, "That's how I survived," and said, "Without that, I wouldn't have made it."
Meanwhile, the first broadcast of 'Yulangdan' recorded a viewership rating of 3.2% (Nielsen Korea nationwide standard), marking a smooth start. tvN's 'Dance Singers Yulangdan' airs every Thursday at 10:30 PM.
