Asiana, Aircraft Door Opened Just Before Landing... "Passenger Experienced Breathing Difficulty" (Comprehensive)

An Asiana Airlines passenger plane experienced an incident where the door opened just before landing.

On the 26th at 11:49 a.m., Asiana Airlines flight OZ8124 departed from Jeju Airport and at 12:45 p.m., just before landing at Daegu Airport, the door suddenly opened. It is reported that the plane landed on the runway with the door open.

Among the 194 passengers on board, no one was injured. However, some passengers showed symptoms of breathing difficulties and were transported to the hospital by ambulance immediately after landing.

An Asiana Airlines official stated, "The exact cause is under investigation," adding, "A passenger seated in the emergency exit row testified that they touched the emergency exit lever, and the police are currently investigating."

Meanwhile, the Daegu Police Agency is investigating a man suspected of forcibly trying to open the door of the Asiana Airlines plane as it was beginning to land at Daegu Airport that day.
