Full Party Held Two Months Early
From Downtown to Famous Tourist Spots
Reflecting Early Heat and Endemic Excitement
The early heatwave has brought hotel pool parties back earlier than usual. Not only popular pool parties in the Seoul metropolitan area but also hotel and resort water parks in tourist destinations nationwide are busy preparing to welcome guests as the endemic (periodic outbreak of infectious diseases) atmosphere intensifies.

According to the hotel industry on the 27th, Seoul Dragon City will hold a summer pool party on the 31st floor 'King's Vacation' at Sky Kingdom from 7 PM to 1 AM on the 2nd of next month. Last year, it was held from late July to early August, but this year the timing has been brought forward by about two months.
This pool party is themed as a 'Vacation for the Nobles.' Guests can enjoy the pool party while admiring the night view of Seoul at King's Vacation, which features a mini pool and DJ booth. The DJing of six popular DJs, including DJ Kwon Yeon-su and DJ Hunter, will enhance the excitement of the pool party. Performances by singer-songwriter JINDOK and saxophonist Tory are also prepared. Tickets including one glass of sparkling wine and table reservations consisting of one bottle of vodka, four cans of mixers, two bottles of sparkling wine, and a cheese board are on sale. On the day of the pool party, various single liquor menus such as 'Armand de Brignac,' 'Dom P?rignon,' and 'Mo?t & Chandon' will also be offered on-site.
Paradise City will hold summer pool parties again this year at the outdoor swimming pool and spa 'Cimer,' following last year. The Cimer pool party, held in an exotic spa facility, will take place every weekend during the summer season starting next month. The outdoor swimming pool pool party, which has established itself as a representative 'Pool-cation' spot for the MZ generation (Millennials + Gen Z) with a different concept every year, is scheduled for mid-July. Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul and Grand Walkerhill Seoul, famous for their pool parties in downtown Seoul, will also hold pool parties every Saturday starting July 8.

This year, with the early heat and the full-fledged endemic atmosphere, it is expected that crowds eager to enjoy cool water activities and performances will surge, prompting hotels and resorts nationwide to prepare various events. Hanwha Hotels & Resorts will hold the water music festival 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2023' at Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano on August 19.
Waterbomb is Korea's representative summer festival where singers and audiences form teams to enjoy water play and performances simultaneously. Unlike last year, when it was held in five cities, this year it will be held in nine cities starting with Seoul in June, followed by Gwangju, Daejeon, Daegu, and others. Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, which attracted Waterbomb to Sokcho City, explained that they focused on securing influential artists such as Park Jae-beom, Jessi, and Gray, Loco, Woo Won-jae from the hip-hop label AOMG to help recover the tourism industry in Gangwon-do, which suffered from wildfires. Hanwha Hotels & Resorts also prepared a room package consisting of accommodation (2 nights), Waterpia (up to 4 tickets), and Waterbomb admission tickets (up to 4 tickets).
