KT Skylife announced on the 26th that it has been finally selected through a bid for the corporate theme station usage at Digital Media City Station conducted by Airport Railroad.
The bid for the corporate theme station at Digital Media City Station conducted by Airport Railroad allows the use of station name notation in parentheses below the station name, as well as facilities for signage inside the station and on trains. Notably, for the first time in Airport Railroad history, the entire station can be decorated as a themed space, making it highly effective for corporate brand advertising.
With Skylife selected in this bid, passengers using Airport Railroad and Digital Media City Station for the next three years will be guided by the Skylife station name through ▲station nameplates and signs inside and outside the station ▲route maps inside and outside the trains ▲and alighting announcement broadcasts. They will be able to experience a space decorated with a Skylife-exclusive theme including various contents from ENA.
‘Digital Media City Station’ is a triple transfer station where three lines (Airport Railroad, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and Line 6) intersect, serving approximately 50,000 passengers daily boarding and alighting (with the entire Airport Railroad transporting about 200,000 passengers daily). It is a major station located in a media hub where domestic broadcasters and media companies gather. It is also considered an area with an active global floating population influenced by the Korean Wave, including the domestic MZ generation as well as K-pop and dramas.
Yang Chun-sik, CEO of Skylife, said, “With Skylife selected as the theme station usage institution for Airport Railroad’s Digital Media City Station, we expect Skylife, as a comprehensive media platform company, to establish itself as a landmark in the media hub Digital Media City.” He added, “We will make good use of not only the station name notation but also the themed space so that many users can experience the diverse contents of Skylife and ENA.”
