Hyundai Motor Securities stated on the 26th that the generative AI brought by Nvidia and OpenAI is likely to become the 'second www,' and predicted that Hanmi Semiconductor will benefit from this.

Researcher Kwak Min-jung of Hyundai Motor Securities explained, "Japanese equipment companies are also releasing equipment and materials to implement advanced packaging related to artificial intelligence (AI)," adding, "Demand for Hanmi Semiconductor's TSV-TC bonding equipment used in HBM processes will continue to increase."

She added, "The broad investment demand from tech companies spanning China, Southeast Asia, and the Indian market is also a positive factor for Hanmi Semiconductor's long-term direction."

Researcher Kwak introduced, "Nvidia announced in its earnings report that it is increasing supply to meet demand for its data center chip lineup designed to handle large language model (LLM) requirements." She continued, "Data center-related sales are expected to more than double over the next three months," and predicted, "Demand for generative AI applications will broadly expand among cloud computing, enterprise customers, and consumer-oriented internet companies."

She analyzed, "Demand for HBM related to AI GPUs for deep learning implementation is increasing further," adding, "SK Hynix's global market share of HBM is expected to expand from 50% last year to 53% this year." Furthermore, she emphasized, "Demand for TSV-TC bonding equipment will increase," and noted, "Hanmi Semiconductor's Vietnam subsidiary will open at the end of this month, enabling it to respond to investments in the Indian market by NXP, TI, Nvidia, and others."
