On the 25th, the police announced that a man in his 40s, Mr. A, was detained the previous day on charges including obstruction of business, assault, and injury. Mr. A is accused of interfering with the business operations of Mr. B, the owner of a restaurant in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk.

Mr. A, a YouTuber with 700 subscribers, was known to frequently upload so-called 'mukbang' videos where he visited local restaurants and ate meals. He referred to himself as the 'Sniper King YouTuber' and targeted only small-scale restaurants rather than franchises, engaging in bullying behavior.
According to a video released by JTBC's 'Sangam-dong Class,' Mr. A's misdeeds were fully exposed. He shoved his phone in front of Mr. B and said, "Hey, you XXXX! While pretending to be so nice, I'm the Sniper King who catches people like you! Should I stab your XX with XXX?"?uttering sexually harassing remarks and curses. When Mr. B said he would report him for sexual harassment, Mr. A shouted back, "Go ahead and report! If you film your XXX, XXXX!" and used even harsher profanity.
At that time, Mr. B immediately reported to the police, but Mr. A was released without detention. In retaliation for the report, Mr. A visited the restaurant three more times. He attempted to throw flowerpots into the kitchen and scattered food waste in front of the store, causing disturbances. He even threw a flower basket at Mr. B's face, saying, "I will ruin your business."
The victim, Mr. B, said that Mr. A is notorious in the area for bullying and misconduct, claiming, "The police just pass the case around. They push him out of their own jurisdiction. There isn’t a single police officer who doesn’t know him."
Eventually, the police urgently arrested Mr. A on the night of the 22nd and collected cases of crimes committed against other victims besides Mr. B to request an arrest warrant. The investigation revealed that Mr. A did not touch franchise restaurants at all but targeted small-scale, struggling merchants’ shops, engaging in misconduct and frequent threats.
