The police have launched an investigation after receiving a report that women were sitting on the windows of a moving vehicle and performing stunt driving in the city, Yonhap News reported on the 25th.

According to the reporter A (40), two women, presumed to be foreigners, repeatedly stuck their bodies out of the rear seat window of the car driving on the road and sat astride the window.

In the video provided by A, one woman is seen sitting astride the car window, reaching her hand toward the sky, then going back inside the car.

In a phone call with Yonhap News, A said, "The vehicle continued to perform stunt driving such as sudden acceleration and sudden braking together with two other passenger cars presumed to be part of the same group," adding, "They also performed so-called 'kalchigi' (sudden lane changes) while driving about 2.5 km."

When the police arrived at the scene after receiving the report on the day, the vehicles had already disappeared.

The police secured the dangerous driving video from A and plan to investigate the individuals on suspicion of reckless driving under the Road Traffic Act.

Reckless driving is based on Article 46-3 (Prohibition of Reckless Driving) of the Road Traffic Act.

It refers to driving behavior that uses a dangerous object, a car, to threaten or cause fear to specific individuals on the road and significantly increases the risk of traffic accidents. When booked for reckless driving, 40 penalty points are imposed (license suspension for 40 days).

A police official said, "The driver or passengers of the vehicle have not yet been identified," adding, "Depending on the investigation, the application of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes will also be considered."
