Recon Labs announced on the 25th that it has been selected for the 'Art-Technology Matching Project' hosted by the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service.
This project, which originated from last year's pilot 'Art-Data Matching Support Project,' was planned in response to the opinions of those working in the arts industry who need technical information and collaboration partners. The event involves companies selected through a public competition, and Recon Labs' participation for the second consecutive year adds significance.
The feature of this project is to connect artists or groups who will challenge new technology and art fusion creations through collaboration with companies. Applications are accepted through the National Culture and Arts Support System (NCAS) until June 13.
Recon Labs plans to provide matched creators with customized digital solutions to introduce and communicate their works to audiences worldwide, including ▲ archiving works through a cloud system ▲ metaverse exhibitions built in VR/AR environments ▲ new digital artwork production services utilizing 3D technology.
Creators can expand their online channels to meet audiences and secure potential customers through immersive 3D content. Additionally, before purchasing artworks, augmented reality (AR) services allow customers to place the works directly in their space, increasing purchase intent.
Seonghun Ban, CEO of Recon Labs, said, "We are pleased to be selected for two consecutive years as a company that can contribute to the arts industry," adding, "We expect this project to be an opportunity to support artists who have artistic inspiration but face difficulties in their creative activities due to technical limitations."
