Gangbuk-gu Signs 'Special Guarantee' Business Agreement to Revitalize Local Economy
Shinhan Bank Contributes 500 Million KRW, Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation Supports Special Credit Guarantees Worth 6.25 Billion KRW
Gangbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced on the 23rd that it signed a special guarantee business agreement with Shinhan Bank and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, funded by Shinhan Bank.
This agreement involves Shinhan Bank contributing 500 million KRW, and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation providing special credit guarantees totaling 6.25 billion KRW, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises within the district that have good credit but lack funds and collateral to receive financial support from financial institutions.
Applications for special credit guarantee support are available to small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners whose business registration address is in Gangbuk-gu. For more details, please contact the Gangbuk branch of the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation.
Mayor Lee Soon-hee of Gangbuk-gu said, "We thank Shinhan Bank and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation for joining forces to support struggling small business owners," adding, "We will strive to revitalize the local economy for residents facing difficulties due to the economic downturn."
