Police Do Not Prosecute Former Minister Park Soon-ae Over Allegations of External Editing of Children's School Records

The police have decided not to prosecute former Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs and Minister of Education Park Sun-ae, who was suspected of leaking her child's school records outside the school.

According to the police on the 24th, the Seoul Bangbae Police Station recently decided not to prosecute former Minister Park, who was accused of forgery of private documents.

Earlier, last year, allegations were raised that the high school records of the younger twin son of former Minister Park were leaked externally, received corrections from an outside consulting academy, and were used for university admissions.

In response, a civic group filed a complaint against former Minister Park in July last year, prompting the police to launch an investigation. The investigation confirmed that the student records actually submitted to the university and the documents presented on the broadcast were different.
