On the 24th, the Korea Display Industry Association announced that Vice Chairman Lee Dong-wook met with Chairman Chen Yansun of BOE, who is also the chairman of the China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufactures Association, on the 23rd (local time) in Los Angeles to jointly confirm their commitment to resolving difficulties faced by companies in both countries and strengthening cooperation. At this meeting, they also sought opportunities to enhance exchanges and cooperation between the display industries of the two countries to promote mutual development and growth.

Vice Chairman Lee mentioned that since many Korean companies have cooperative relationships with BOE, it is necessary for the two associations to communicate on major issues and serve as a channel to resolve problems. In response, Chairman Chen acknowledged that although companies from both countries are in fierce technological competition, he agreed with the idea that the two associations should act as a focal point for cooperation to advance the display industry.
