‘Risk Assessment’ The Start of a Safe Workplace … Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Launches Campaign

The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) launched a nationwide risk assessment practice campaign to mark the "10th On-site Inspection Day."

On this day, Director Ahn Jong-joo of the agency visited a construction site located in Haeundae-gu, Busan, to inspect whether risk assessments were being properly implemented and to provide guidance on the revised "Guidelines on Workplace Risk Assessment."

The revised guidelines reflect feedback from the field that the risk assessment system was difficult and complex to implement, and have been improved to focus the risk assessment system on identifying risk factors and preparing improvement measures.
