A famous lawyer Kim Mo (61), who has appeared as a panelist on general programming channels, was caught by the police after colliding with a cyclist while driving under the influence.
On the 23rd, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that Kim was booked on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.
Kim is accused of colliding with cyclist A while driving under the influence on the road in front of Jeonggok Building East Wing on Beopwon-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, around 9:30 p.m. the previous day. At the time, Kim's blood alcohol concentration was 0.174%, which is at the level for license cancellation.
Kim is known to have appeared as a panelist on general programming channels in the past.
Cyclist A received treatment at Seongmo Hospital immediately after the accident and then returned home. However, since A was riding against traffic on the road, A was booked on charges of property damage under the Road Traffic Act.
