SD Biosensor Participates in World Clinical Chemistry Congress... "Expanding Business in Italy"

SD Biosensor announced on the 23rd that it participated in the 'IFCC WorldLab·EuromedLab 2023 (IFCC 2023)' held in Rome, Italy.

Marking its 25th edition this year, IFCC 2023 is being held for five days from the 21st to the 25th of this month (local time) at the Rome Convention Center in Italy. IFCC is a society in the field of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine, and this year, WorldLab and EuromedLab were held simultaneously for the first time in 12 years.

The company explained that Europe is a major market accounting for 28% of the global in vitro diagnostics market. SD Biosensor participated in IFCC 2023 following ECCMID, the largest European clinical microbiology conference held in Denmark last April.

SD Biosensor showcased its rapid molecular diagnostic platform, 'STANDARD M10.' Additionally, it presented a total of eight cartridges that have received CE approval: ▲Flu/RSV/SARS-CoV-2 (simultaneous diagnosis of influenza and COVID-19) ▲MDR-TB (drug-resistant tuberculosis test) ▲MTB/NTM (tuberculosis test) ▲HPV (human papillomavirus test) ▲Arbovirus Panel (arbovirus test) ▲C.difficile (colon test) ▲SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 test) ▲SARS-CoV-2 Turbo (COVID-19 LAMP test).

Furthermore, separate exhibition spaces were prepared for the fluorescent immunoassay brand 'STANDARD F' and the chronic disease and blood glucose monitoring brand 'Chronic Care.' Notably, at this IFCC 2023, SD Biosensor operated a booth together with its local Italian subsidiary, Relab S.R.L. SD Biosensor introduced Chronic Care, which will be launched in the Italian market from the second half of this year, signaling plans for business expansion.
