Woo Do-hwan, who appeared in MBC's 'Joseon Attorney,' posted behind-the-scenes videos and photos along with his thoughts on social media on the 20th, marking the end of the series.

Woo Do-hwan expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much for loving 'Joseon Attorney.' It was my first comeback work in three years, so I had a lot of fears and worries. However, the wonderful actors, directors, and above all, the hardworking 'Joseon Attorney' staff gave me the greatest strength."

Behind-the-scenes video... "No consideration for co-star"

The video Woo Do-hwan personally uploaded on SNS contained a love scene between Kang Han-soo (played by Woo Do-hwan) and Lee Yeon-joo (played by Kim Ji-yeon). The scene showed Kang Han-soo embracing Lee Yeon-joo from behind and lying side by side while kissing, interpreted as a happy ending scene. This was an unreleased scene not shown in the original broadcast.

However, criticism began to arise regarding the behind-the-scenes video. Some fans expressed discomfort, saying "There was no consideration for the co-star," and malicious comments including personal attacks and insults toward Woo Do-hwan followed. Some also questioned the necessity of releasing a love scene that was edited out from the original broadcast.

As criticism and demands for deletion of the video increased, Woo Do-hwan eventually deleted the post from his SNS.

"Precious to drama fans"... Officials also state "It was a consensual matter"

On the other hand, some argued that the criticism toward Woo Do-hwan was excessive. They expressed regret, saying, "The video is precious to drama fans," "'Joseon Attorney' is rated 15 and over, and the level of the unreleased scene Woo Do-hwan shared is not problematic," and "The co-star might feel even more uncomfortable due to this controversy."

A representative from Woo Do-hwan's side told TV Report, "The unreleased scene was posted with the consent of the production company and the co-star," adding, "Without such consent, it would be impossible to even have the unreleased footage."

They continued, "It was posted because many fans love the drama and there was no other intention," and "However, since some people felt uncomfortable, the post was deleted."

Meanwhile, MBC's 'Joseon Attorney' is a work depicting the story of Joseon-era attorney 'Oe Ji-bu' Kang Han-goo, who seeks revenge through trials against the enemy who caused his parents' death. The series ended on the 20th with episode 16.
