Haenam-gun 'Dalmagodo Walking Day' Operated Monthly Until November

Weekend Walking Events by Theme, Walking Review SNS Event in Progress

Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, will operate the "Haenam Dalma-godo & Korea Dullegil Walking Day" walking event every month from May to November, allowing participants to walk the representative Namdo walking trails, Dalma-godo and Korea Dullegil (Nampalanggil, Seohaeranggil).

According to the county on the 22nd, this event, themed "A Romantic Walking Trip at the Land’s End Walking through Mountains and Sea," will start on the 27th and be held every second and fourth Saturday of the month with a trekking guide.

The program features different courses and themes each time, such as casual walking, dawn walking, sunset walking, and walking exploration, allowing participants to experience various charms of Haenam.

In addition to simple walking, environmental protection will be practiced through plogging (picking up trash + jogging), and participants will receive recognition for volunteer activity hours.

Participants will be recruited through advance registration on a first-come, first-served basis, with 40 people per session, and applications can be made via the Haenam-gun Culture and Tourism website or by phone.

Furthermore, a Haenam walking trip review SNS event will be held. Those who participate in the 2023 "Dalma-godo & Korea Dullegil Walking Event" or walk Haenam’s walking trails individually and then write a review on their own SNS will be selected five times each month to receive a package of Haenam’s agricultural and marine specialty products.

The SNS review event participation period is from June 1 to November 30.

A county official said, "Through this walking event, we hope people slowly walk against the beautiful backdrop of Haenam’s mountains and sea, feel rest and leisure, and gain healing for both body and mind."

Meanwhile, Haenam-gun has been selected for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s "Walking Travel Route Activation Program" contest for five consecutive years, establishing itself as a distinguished walking travel destination.
