'Persona: Sulli' Under Discussion for Netflix Release
40-Second Teaser Video Released on Social Media Gains Attention
The posthumous work of the late Sulli, 'Persona: Sulli,' is currently under discussion for release on Netflix, and a preview of Sulli's interview has been released, drawing attention.
According to multiple domestic media reports on the 22nd, a Netflix representative stated that they are in overall discussions regarding the Netflix release schedule of 'Persona: Sulli,' produced by Mystic Story.
'Persona: Sulli' is a project where five directors create works on different themes inspired by Sulli. Season 1 of Persona featured singer and actress IU.
Sulli had completed filming one of the five works but passed away on October 14, 2019, which halted the project's production.
Along with news about the release status of 'Persona: Sulli,' a 40-second preview was also released on social media (SNS).
The preview video shows Sulli saying, "I was very curious about 'What is my role within society?'" and "I wondered what my peers were thinking as they lived..."
She also confessed, "I understood that popularity suddenly came, but I think it was scary."
Meanwhile, Sulli debuted in the entertainment industry through the SBS drama 'Seodongyo' in 2005. She began her singing career as a member of the girl group f(x) in 2009, gaining much popularity, and after leaving the group in 2015, she transitioned to acting and continued her career as an actress.
