The weekend will be mostly clear nationwide, with daytime temperatures rising up to 30 degrees Celsius in some areas.
On the 20th, the morning low temperatures are expected to be between 11 and 17 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 20 and 29 degrees Celsius. The expected low and high temperatures by city are: Seoul 17°C and 26°C, Incheon 17°C and 22°C, Daejeon 15°C and 29°C, Gwangju 16°C and 28°C, Daegu 14°C and 27°C, Ulsan and Busan 15°C and 22°C.
Between dawn and 9 a.m. on the 20th, dense fog with visibility under 200 meters is expected in the Jeolla region, inland areas of North Gyeongsang, and western inland areas of South Gyeongsang, while other inland areas may experience fog with visibility under 1 km.
On the 21st, morning low temperatures will range from 13 to 19 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 20 to 29 degrees Celsius. The temperature difference between day and night will exceed 15 degrees Celsius, especially in the inland areas of Gyeongsang, so caution is advised for health management.
Between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on the 21st, light raindrops less than 0.1 mm are expected in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and central and southern Gangwon.
Starting from the night of the 18th, yellow dust originating from the Gobi Desert and the Inner Mongolian Plateau will begin to affect South Korea from the 21st. The National Institute of Environmental Research forecasts that fine dust levels in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon, and Chungcheong will be 'bad' on the 21st.
