"Walking Along the Bamboo Forest on an Early Summer Night in Damyang"
Includes visits to the Bamboo Museum, bamboo forest walks, and craft experiences
On the 19th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is recruiting participants for the ‘Moonlight Walk Tour,’ an experience where you can stroll through bamboo groves and fully enjoy the atmosphere of bamboo on a green June night.
The Moonlight Walk Tour is a program held at the Korea Bamboo Museum and is the second nighttime event following a positive response during the 22nd Bamboo Festival.
Through various programs such as visiting the Korea Bamboo Museum, walking through bamboo forests, experiencing bamboo crafts, moon viewing, and busking performances, the event aims to provide an opportunity to enjoy the scent of bamboo and the night of June.
The number of participants is limited to 20, and anyone nationwide can apply by the 31st. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis if the number exceeds the limit.
An official from the county stated, “We expect this experience program to promote bamboo culture and increase visitors,” adding, “We plan to continue this as a regular program at the Korea Bamboo Museum, so we ask for your great interest and participation.”
