Estraffic is showing strong performance. It is interpreted that Estraffic, which has a history as a Hyundai Motor partner, was influenced by the news that Ukraine requested Hyundai Motor to establish an electric vehicle ecosystem as part of a reconstruction project worth 1,200 trillion won.
As of 10:30 AM on the 19th, Estraffic is trading at 4,275 won, up 2.76% compared to the previous day.
Yulia Svyrydenko, Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, stated at the ‘Korea-Ukraine Business Forum’ on the 17th, “The Ukrainian government estimates the reconstruction project to reach 900 billion dollars,” and added, “We especially expect the participation of Korean companies in various energy industry projects such as the establishment of two new nuclear power plants and the construction of hydrogen industry infrastructure.”
She continued, “There are also opportunities with Korea in power and hydrogen energy projects worth 358 billion dollars and energy facility production projects worth 130 billion dollars,” citing green steel production, sustainable transportation system construction, lithium and battery sectors, restoration and modernization of transportation networks such as roads and railways, and production of electric and hydrogen-powered transportation means.
Earlier, Minister Yulia said, “We requested active participation of Korean companies including Hyundai Motor in Ukraine’s reconstruction,” and added, “We have considered establishing local production facilities with Hyundai Motor to develop Ukraine’s electric vehicle industry after the war.”
The Ukraine reconstruction project, estimated at 1,200 trillion won, is called the second Marshall Plan. It focuses not only on simple infrastructure restoration but also on building infrastructure for future development.
Meanwhile, Estraffic is a provider of charging infrastructure and autonomous driving services. It is known to have references for establishing road traffic systems, railway traffic systems, and toll collection systems in various countries around the world. Estraffic has previously formed a cooperative partnership with Hyundai Motor in the electric vehicle charging business.
