Although there was no special positive news to drive up steel stocks, a media outlet reported that Tangshan City in Hebei Province, the largest steel-producing city in China, sent a letter ordering a reduction in crude steel production.
As a result, it is interpreted that steel companies such as HiSteel saw their stock prices rise on the judgment that domestic steel manufacturers would benefit.
