Participating in the 'Frieze Art Fair,' One of the World's Two Major Art Fairs
LG Electronics is participating in the ‘Frieze Art Fair,’ one of the world’s two major art fairs, to showcase NFT (Non-Fungible Token) artworks.
On the 18th, LG Electronics announced that it will participate in ‘Frieze New York,’ held at The Shed, a cultural and arts center located in Manhattan, New York, until the 21st. In the lounge space on the 8th floor of the exhibition hall, LG created a gallery using differentiated lifestyle OLED TVs, including the 97-inch OLED Evo, as well as OLED Objet Collection Easel and Pose models.
The model is admiring the artist's new work, the 'Among The Sky' series, displayed on the OLED Evo with delicate image quality and overwhelming contrast.
LG collaborated with digital artist Six N Five, known for works that transcend the boundaries between the virtual world and reality. The artist will present new digital art pieces such as the ‘Among the Sky’ series, which realistically depict surreal worlds, on OLED TVs.
The brighter and clearer LG OLED Evo offers immersive experiences with delicate image expression and overwhelming contrast. It vividly reproduces the light of the blue sky and the detailed texture of clouds in the artworks. In particular, a separate space filled with large mirrors on the ceiling and surrounding walls, combined with a screen made by placing two 97-inch OLED Evo (model name: 97G3) units side by side, provides a unique experience as if being surrounded by clouds.
Oh Hyewon, Senior Vice President and Head of HE Brand Communication at LG Electronics, said, “Through various OLED art projects, we will continue to expand the differentiated value of LG OLED TVs, which go beyond the functional role of displaying artworks to becoming a part of the art itself.”
