Assisted residents with repotting activities while promoting the center and sharing plant care know-how

Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, visited the site of the ‘Companion Plant Clinic - Visiting Service’ at 11 a.m. on the 17th and served as a repotting assistant.

The ‘Companion Plant Clinic - Visiting Service’ is an event that tours 14 neighborhoods, providing repotting, pest and disease management, and plant care consultations. It is held a total of 14 times, with 9 sessions in the first half and 5 in the second half of the year at major hubs in each of the 14 neighborhoods, concluding the first half schedule on the 19th at the Huigyeong 2-dong Community Center.

The mayor visited the ‘Companion Plant Clinic - Visiting Service’ site near Exit 1 of Sinyimun Station to promote the ‘Dongdaemun-gu Companion Plant Clinic Center’ and assisted with repotting activities alongside horticulture experts while sharing plant care know-how.

Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, “As more residents are raising companion plants, the demand for consultations regarding issues that may arise while growing plants is increasing. I hope that the expert-led visiting companion plant clinic will be helpful to residents experiencing difficulties in plant care.”
