Age-Specific Customized and Participatory Education
Promoting the Establishment of Proper Lifestyle Habits
Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Son Byeong-bok) will operate a smoking prevention education talk show for children and adolescents, "Na·Ba·Si (Time to Change Myself)," targeting 1,449 elementary, middle, and high school students over approximately two months from May 16 to July 13 in the auditoriums of 11 local elementary, middle, and high schools.
The smoking prevention talk show "Na·Ba·Si" is designed as age-specific and participatory education to raise awareness of the harms of smoking from a young age and to establish proper lifestyle habits. The program aims to eliminate boredom and resistance to smoking prevention education among students while enhancing their understanding and concentration.
Nam Hwamo, Director of the Public Health Center, said, "Through this education, we hope to raise awareness of the harms of smoking from a young age and contribute to fostering non-smokers," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide visiting medical services."
