Nam-gu announced on the 16th that the Mobile Unification Center Experience Program Festival will be held on the 20th at the Green Road Park area behind Bigsupo in Juwol-dong.

The mobile unification center was established to provide the latest information related to North Korea in preparation for the unification era and to help establish a future-oriented perspective on peace and unification of the Korean Peninsula.

The experience festival will begin with an opening ceremony at 11 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m.

At the opening ceremony, performances and activities will be presented on stage by the acoustic band Yeoul, Eotbakja, a small group from Saenal, a companion of the 615 era, and magician Jeong Yun-ho.

In addition, around the event venue, various experiential booths will be operated, including Unification VR experiences, peace board games, traditional games from both South and North Korea, unification wish coloring activities, Korean Peninsula ring toss, unification bucket list and pinwheel making, and a peace unification photo exhibition.

Furthermore, on June 1, the unification train will make a vigorous departure from Hyochon Station to Dorasan Station, the northernmost station.

The train will carry 336 local residents selected through an open recruitment, and participants will engage in various experiential activities on the train as well as field tours of the DMZ, including visits to the Dorasan Observatory and the Unification Village within the Civilian Control Line.

A Nam-gu official said, "Achieving peace and unification on the Korean Peninsula starts above all with a correct understanding of inter-Korean relations. The mobile unification center and unification train were prepared with this purpose in mind, and it is necessary to open a new horizon by spreading consensus on peace and unification."
