Gwangyang Economic Zone Authority Conducts Investment Attraction Activities at Busan International Machinery Fair

May 16-19, Participate in BEXCO 'Busan International Machinery Fair'

Promote Hadong District, Recruit Companies for Daesong Industrial Complex

The Hadong Office of the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (Director Song Sang-rak, hereinafter referred to as Gwangyang Economic Authority Hadong Office) will participate in the '2023 Busan International Machinery Fair' held at the Busan Convention Center (BEXCO) from May 16 to 19 to conduct investment attraction activities.


The 11th Busan International Machinery Fair, held under the theme of 'Eco-friendly Manufacturing Innovation and Convergence of Digital Technology,' will feature the largest scale in four years since the COVID-19 pandemic, with a total of 1,742 booths from 453 participating companies across 28 countries. Twenty fields will be exhibited, including machinery technology, mold industry, robotics industry, and 3D printing industry.

The Gwangyang Economic Authority Hadong Office will operate a promotional booth at this exhibition to introduce the development status and investment conditions of the Hadong district to participating companies, focusing on promoting the excellence of the location for manufacturing sectors such as machinery parts and metal processing.


Jo Eun-gu, Director of the Gwangyang Economic Authority Hadong Office, said, "Through this Busan International Machinery Fair, we expect to actively promote the Hadong district and inform that it is an optimal place for business activities, serving as a catalyst for revitalizing the Hadong district."


Additionally, the Hadong Office plans to actively discover potential investment companies by participating in numerous domestic industrial fairs to recruit tenant companies for the Daesong Industrial Complex, which is nearing completion, focusing on promoting local government incentives such as location subsidies and support for hydrogen industry investment companies.
