- Popularity of 'Luxury Silver Town' Featuring Hotel-Grade Residential Services and Various Entertainment Options
- 'VL Le West' in Seoul Magok District Expected to Enhance Residential Satisfaction with Lotte Hotel's Residential Service Management
‘Silver towns’ that incorporate premium residential services within complexes are gaining high popularity among the elderly. This is because residents can be freed from essential household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and breakfast preparation, allowing them to focus on self-development and leisure activities, thereby enjoying a higher quality of life.
For example, ‘The Classic 500’ Silver Town in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, which currently requires a long waiting period for move-in, is known to operate residential services comparable to those of a 5-star hotel, including housekeeping and postal parcel services. At the same time, the complex offers various programs in culture and arts, creating an environment where residents can enjoy vibrant leisure activities.
Additionally, ‘VL Lower,’ which was sold last year in Gijang-gun, Busan, announced plans to provide customized healthy meal plans managed by hotel chefs and 24-hour concierge services for elderly residents. This complex drew a maximum competition rate of 256 to 1 during its subscription period.
Silver towns equipped with such premium residential services are expected to continue gaining greater popularity alongside the increasing number of ‘Active seniors’ who are proactive in consumption and leisure activities and value experiential worth. Residents can secure personal time by utilizing various residential services provided within the complex and focus more on their individual leisure lives.
Recently, a representative premium silver town that reflects all these demands is ‘VL Le West,’ being sold in the Magok district of Seoul. Since Lotte Hotel, which launched the ‘VL’ brand, is directly responsible for its operation, more professional residential services are expected.
In fact, this complex offers services such as reservation agency, business support, mail management, and ‘hotel-style concierge services’ operated by Lotte Hotel; ‘housekeeping services’ that allow various cleaning tasks inside the units (twice a week); ‘hotel chef-managed meal plans’ incorporating the know-how of hotel restaurant operations; and a ‘one-stop service’ that handles various inquiries and requests through a single channel.
Furthermore, community facilities within the complex include screen golf, GX, fitness, AV room, book lounge, and Salon de VL, allowing residents to enjoy diverse leisure activities. A medical care center for residents’ health management will also be established.
Moreover, within walking distance of the complex are the approximately 500,000㎡ ‘Seoul Botanical Garden’ park and the ecological park ‘Seoul Botanic,’ providing a pleasant leisure environment. Both parks are connected by an underground pedestrian passage, enabling convenient access, and various walking programs linked to the ‘Seoul Botanical Garden’ park are planned.
VL Le West will be developed as a complex in the Magok district of Seoul, consisting of 4 buildings ranging from 6 basement floors to 15 above-ground floors, with a total of 810 units and exclusive areas ranging from 51 to 149㎡.
Meanwhile, VL Le West is currently operating a model house.
