Asiana Airlines Reports 1Q Operating Profit of 92.5 Billion KRW, Down 47.7% Year-on-Year

Asiana Airlines announced on the 15th that its operating profit for the first quarter of this year decreased by 47.7% compared to the previous year, amounting to 92.5 billion KRW.

During the same period, sales increased by 27% to 1.4563 trillion KRW, and net loss turned to 62 billion KRW.

First quarter passenger business sales recorded 912.7 billion KRW, an increase of 353.7% compared to the same period last year, while first quarter cargo business sales recorded 402.5 billion KRW, a decrease of 54.5% compared to the same period last year.
