AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology has been integrated into every stage of digital media delivery for advertising campaigns. Through this, a solution has emerged that strengthens the competitiveness of advertising platforms by supporting advertisers and media to more easily achieve their advertising goals.
Nasmedia, a digital marketing platform company under the KT Group, announced on the 15th the launch of the 'Nasmedia AI Suite.' KT and Nasmedia signed an MOU in April last year and launched a joint AI R&D project to introduce AI innovation solutions in the digital advertising field. This is the first result of the joint R&D conducted over the past year.
This solution consists of ▲Bid Optimizer (BO), an advertising transaction bidding optimization system ▲Fraud Detection (FD), a system to fundamentally block fraudulent transactions ▲Automatic Traffic Curation (ATC), an advertising traffic efficiency system. The BO system, jointly developed with the AI2XL Research Institute Deep Learning Engineering Project team at KT Convergence Technology Institute, optimizes bid price adjustments by AI when advertisers bid on media inventory. It recorded an average 35% increase in the winning bid rate and a 34% increase in revenue for the media holding the inventory. The FD system also confirmed an effect of reducing fraudulent traffic to about one-third. ATC brought remarkable results such as a 37% increase in the winning bid rate compared to before and about 40% savings in traffic resources.
KT and Nasmedia plan to continuously expand their joint AI R&D areas. Park Pyeong-kwon, president of Nasmedia, said, “From now on, as the No.1 digital marketing platform company, we will provide differentiated value to the market,” adding, “We will accelerate Nasmedia’s AI-based Digital Transformation and lay the foundation for future growth engines.”
