Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 12th that it held a signing ceremony with 15 organizations and groups located in Mudeungsan to successfully host the Mudeungsan Humanities Festival ‘Inmun For:rest’.
The signing ceremony was attended by ▲ Mudeungsan National Park Service ▲ Gwangju Cultural Foundation (Traditional Culture Center) ▲ Gwangju Metropolitan City Green City Office, as well as ▲ five art museums located on Uijaero ▲ religious facilities such as Jeungsimsa Temple, Munbinjeongsa, and Sinlim Church ▲ Mudeungsan Jeungsimsa Shopping District Cooperative ▲ Hakun Elementary School ▲ Hakundong Community Association.
The participating organizations and groups pledged mutual cooperation for the smooth progress of the festival and promised to actively participate in the successful promotion of future humanities projects related to Mudeungsan.
Im Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, said, “Starting with the Mudeungsan Humanities Festival ‘Inmun For:rest,’ we will continue to discover the rich ecological, historical, and cultural resources of Mudeungsan,” adding, “We will successfully promote the project through close cooperation with organizations and groups located in Mudeungsan.”
