President Yoon Suk-yeol received letters of credence from 11 newly appointed ambassadors to Korea from countries including Denmark, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Sudan on the 12th.
On the afternoon of the same day, President Yoon held a letters of credence presentation ceremony with a total of 11 ambassadors at the Presidential Office in Yongsan, Seoul. The letters of credence presentation ceremony is a ritual in which the head of state of the sending country presents the letter of credence to the head of state of the host country through the new ambassador.

The ambassadors to Korea who attended the letters of credence presentation ceremony were Atoki Illeka, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo; Amira Agalib, Ambassador of Sudan; Sara Solis Castaneda, Ambassador of Guatemala; Songkan Luangmuninton, Ambassador of Laos; Tarash Papaskua, Ambassador of Georgia; Carlos Penafiel Soto, Ambassador of Mexico; Dunn Elizabeth Bennett, Ambassador of New Zealand; Paul Fernando Duclos, Ambassador of Peru; Sven Oling, Ambassador of Denmark; Said Kuzechi, Ambassador of Iran; and Tamara Anmohini, Ambassador of Canada.
