Housing Finance Corporation Takes Steps to Improve Housing Conditions for National Merit Recipients

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and Habitat for Humanity Korea to improve the living conditions of veterans' old houses.

On the 12th, Korea Housing Finance Corporation announced that it signed a social contribution business agreement called "Honor House with Housing Finance Corporation" with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and Habitat for Humanity Korea to support the improvement of veterans' living environments.

Through this agreement, HF Corporation plans to support the repair and renovation of old houses of veterans such as the Korean War veterans and their spouses. The candidates will be recruited by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and the final recipients will be selected after on-site inspections.

Choi Jun-woo, President of HF, said, "This agreement is to honor the patriotism of veterans who devoted themselves to the country," and added, "The corporation will continue to support the establishment of a culture of honoring veterans throughout society."

HF Corporation will hold a step donation campaign from the 15th to June 6th, aiming for 727 million steps (July 27, the day of the armistice agreement) to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice.

This campaign will also involve Habitat for Humanity Korea and singer Sean, and anyone who wishes to participate can donate steps through the step donation platform app "Big Walk".
