Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 12th that it will recruit participating companies for the 'Small Business Online Business Support Project' to help small business owners develop online sales channels starting from the 15th.
Seo-gu plans to select ▲15 companies for online entry support ▲5 companies for mobile marketing ▲6 companies for live commerce by evaluating project suitability, price competitiveness, product differentiation, and scalability.
In addition, support will be provided to promote sales in the online market, including online marketing education, support for entering online shopping malls, and live commerce broadcasting.
Applications are open to any small business owner whose business location is in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, and who can sell products online as of the announcement date. Applications along with the participation application form, business registration certificate, and value-added tax standard certificate must be sent via email or submitted in person at the Economic Division or the Small Business Management Support Center by the 2nd of next month.
District Mayor Kim Ikang said, "I hope this project will help revitalize the local economy and help small business owners develop online sales channels amid the economic crisis," adding, "We will spare no effort to support small business owners in securing a stable business foundation through various small business support projects."
