The Government Employees Pension Service and the Small Enterprise and Market Service signed a business agreement on the 12th at the Government Employees Pension Service headquarters in Jeju to support market access and promote consumption for small business owners and traditional markets.
Through this agreement, both organizations plan to cooperate by revitalizing local commercial districts through support for market access and consumption promotion for small business owners and traditional markets, as well as sharing strategies and know-how in the ESG management sector.
So far, the two organizations have supported small business owners' entry into the corporation's online shopping mall, attracted small business coffee specialty stores to the Government Employees Pension Service building, and supported joint purchases of excellent products from Jeju small business owners.
Recently, on May 1st, they held the Moseulpo Clock Tower Shopping District Companion Festival, playing a role in revitalizing the shopping district through various prize events and a children's drawing contest.
In addition, they plan to continue efforts such as supporting shopping baskets for carbon neutrality practice and campaigns like "One Institution, One Market" to revitalize local commercial districts and traditional markets.
A Government Employees Pension Service official said, "Since relocating to Jeju Island, we have engaged in various activities to support the local community, but by working together with the Small Enterprise and Market Service, we expect to achieve even greater synergy," adding, "We plan to make further efforts to revitalize local small business owners and traditional markets in the future."
