Approval of Project Plan for 'Jeju The Eaton,' a New Large Complex with 84㎡ Units in English Education City After 9 Years

“Jeju The Eaton,” a multi-family housing complex showcased in the last residential land district of Jeju English Education City, is attracting attention from buyers with its differentiated product quality and specialized design.


The construction industry is focusing intently on conditions beyond location, such as community facilities, specialized designs, and auxiliary amenities. As the social atmosphere spreads where residential areas represent one’s economic status, the value of high-end residential facilities boasting unique product qualities is being highly evaluated.


A luxury residential facility recently drawing attention in the housing market is “Jeju The Eaton,” developed on Block D-9 of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province’s English Education City. This complex offers 84㎡ units, supplied for the first time in nine years since Hanshin The Hue in the English Education City. It will consist of 26 buildings from one basement floor to five above-ground floors, with 376 units of 84㎡ exclusive area. As the last multi-family housing in the residential land of English Education City, it aims to resolve the shortage of housing supply relative to the resident population and is composed of highly scarce 84㎡ units, maximizing residential satisfaction for those seeking spacious and comfortable living spaces.


This apartment applies product designs befitting a high-end residential facility. It is entirely oriented southward, offering excellent natural lighting and ventilation. Additionally, the 4Bay structure and unit-specific terrace specialized design provide an open and comfortable atmosphere. Complexes with terraces offer independent relaxation spaces not found in typical multi-family housing, resulting in high satisfaction and enhanced views by embracing the surrounding green nature. Currently, 12 international schools for elementary, middle, and high school levels operate within Jeju English Education City, where all classes are conducted in English, enabling students to build high-level English skills. Various sports and arts activities are mandatory parts of the curriculum.


It has also secured a prime location adjacent to three additional international schools planned for future establishment. Originally, JDC planned to establish seven integrated middle and high international schools by 2024, accommodating 9,000 students and a residential population of 20,000, with 4,660 apartment units supplied. However, currently, four international schools have been established within the English Education City with about 5,000 students, and only 2,700 multi-family housing units have been supplied. If three more international schools are added as planned, increasing the student population by 4,000, the housing supply land available in English Education City will be limited, making “Jeju The Eaton” the last with high scarcity value.


Residents can also enjoy the advantages of a natural educational city blessed by nature. The complex is surrounded by conservation green areas and connected to Gotjawal Provincial Park, which features approximately 7 km of park trails, ideal for walking and leisure. Additionally, nearby attractions such as Sagye Coast, Oreum, and Sanbangsan Mountain allow residents to enjoy the serene natural environment of pristine Jeju.


Living infrastructure is also excellent. Residents can conveniently use four swimming pools located within the English Education City, as well as Jeju’s only ice rink and major commercial facilities like Shinsegae Outlet. Various cultural and tourist facilities such as Jeju Shinhwa World, Jeju Aerospace Museum, O’Sulloc, and Robot Planet are nearby. Moreover, Peace Road, which runs through Jeju Island, is close to the complex, facilitating easy vehicle access throughout Jeju and Seogwipo. With 12 golf courses including Blackstone CC and Teddy Valley CC, as well as yacht and horseback riding facilities nearby, residents can comfortably enjoy leisure sports.


The complex is not included in the housing count, and residents bear no tax burdens such as acquisition tax, property tax, or comprehensive real estate tax during ownership. Since it is offered at a fixed sale price, residents can expect capital gains.


Meanwhile, “Jeju The Eaton” received housing construction project approval on April 28 and is scheduled for sale in June, with a promotional center currently in operation.
