Meeting with National Assembly Standing Committee Members to Discuss 11 Current Projects
On the 11th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is making every effort, including meeting with members of the National Assembly standing committees, to secure next year's national treasury budget and resolve local issues.
To this end, on the 10th, County Governor Lee Byeong-no visited the National Assembly and met with standing committee members including Assemblymen Ahn Gyu-baek, Kang Hoon-sik, Shin Jeong-hoon, Jo Eung-cheon, and Shin Dong-geun to discuss solutions for local issues and provided preliminary explanations on the necessity of promoting pending projects to reflect them in the 2024 national treasury budget.

The main proposed projects include ▲relocation of the reservist training center in Changpyeong-myeon ▲Damyang Garden Culture City creation project ▲construction of Damyang International Meditation Center ▲Damyang as the mecca of traditional Korean sweets, building a food tech infrastructure ▲establishment of a smart livestock ICT pilot complex ▲regional specialized rental smart farm project ▲relocation and reconstruction of Damyang-gun Public Health Center, among 11 projects in total.
Governor Lee Byeong-no said, “We will continue to actively work on securing the national treasury budget to resolve local issues,” and added, “We will do our best to create a happy, self-reliant economic city for all.”
