Seodaemun-gu Youth Housing 'Irum Ilga' Move-in Begins

26.14~29.55㎡ Area Studio-Type 13 Units Configuration

Seodaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Seongheon) will hold the move-in ceremony for the youth housing ‘Irum Ilga’ (127 Yeondae Dongmun-gil) on the 13th at 3 PM on site.

Earlier, the district recruited tenants from September last year targeting single-person households aged 19 to 39 who are homeless Seoul citizens.

After document and interview screening as well as training, 13 selected youths recently completed their move-in.

This housing, supplied through an agreement with SH Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation, is a 4-story building with a total area of 598.66㎡, consisting of 13 studio-type units ranging from 26.14 to 29.55㎡ in size.

If the eligibility criteria such as income and assets are maintained, tenants can renew their contracts twice every 2 years, allowing a maximum stay of up to 6 years.

The move-in ceremony will last 30 minutes under the catchphrase “Youth, Let’s Achieve Our Dreams Here!” and will include watching a construction video and sharing move-in impressions.

District Mayor Lee Seongheon said, “We will do our best to ensure that tenants do not experience any inconvenience in their daily lives, and we will work closely with Seoul City and SH Corporation to supply customized residential facilities within the region.”
