CJ OnStyle announced on the 11th that it will launch the country's first 'Apple' rental broadcast.
CJ OnStyle will showcase the Apple rental broadcast on the mobile live commerce program 'Boutineun Saenghwal' at 8 PM on the 16th. The rental products include Apple iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and iMac. The monthly rental fee starts from a minimum of 25,000 KRW, which includes AppleCare+, Apple's official insurance service. The monthly rental fee varies depending on the product, capacity, and screen size. iPhone rentals can be canceled without penalty after one year, while iPad, MacBook, and iMac rentals can be canceled without penalty after two years. Customers who sign contracts during the broadcast will receive a random lucky box containing genuine Apple products such as AirPods and Apple Watch.
This broadcast is a collaboration with the official Apple rental shop 'APORM.' APORM is the only online distributor in Korea that rents Apple products supplied through authorized distributors from Apple Korea.
A CJ OnStyle representative said, "This broadcast is a great opportunity for customers who wanted to purchase Apple devices but hesitated due to purchase costs and management concerns," adding, "As the rental market continues to grow, we will expand related product lines and lead rental trends in the future."
