40s Given Probation After Providing Sister's Resident Registration Number When Caught Driving Drunk Without License

A woman in her 40s who gave her older sister's personal information after being caught driving under the influence without a license was sentenced to probation in court.

According to the Criminal Division 1 of Changwon District Court in Gyeongnam, last August, woman A was caught during a DUI checkpoint while driving on a road in Jinhae-gu, Changwon City, after drinking alcohol. She is accused of providing her older sister's resident registration number and signing on the mobile information terminal.

At the time, A's blood alcohol concentration was 0.147%, and she was reportedly driving without a license.

A, who requested a blood test, was also found to have signed her older sister's name on the blood test confirmation form at a hospital in Changwon.
