Emart employees visited Donghae City, Gangwon Province, an area affected by wildfires last year, and planted 3,600 trees on approximately 4,000 pyeong of land. For the planting, they selected 3,000 acacia trees and 600 Hovenia trees, which are nectar sources aimed at attracting disappearing honeybees, in collaboration with the Beekeeping Association. The entire funding needed for this tree planting was raised by donating 1% of the sales from the "No Brand Tree Planting Toilet Paper."

An Emart representative said, "We practice forest welfare through tree planting and regular volunteer activities with our employees," adding, "We will strive to create a sustainable environment in various ways through ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities."
