Damyang-gun Promotes Agricultural Specialty Products Sales at '2023 New Bamboo Festival'

Active Promotion Through 'Naver Live Shopping' at Festival Sites

On the 3rd, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 4th that it conducted promotion and sales of agricultural specialty products through the 'Damyang Market' Naver Live Shopping in line with the '2023 New Bamboo Festival' (hereinafter referred to as the Bamboo Festival), held for the first time in four years.

This event was planned to promote the Bamboo Festival, held from the 3rd to the 7th, and Damyang-gun's agricultural specialty products.

The live shopping featured processed foods produced in Damyang, including refrigerated bamboo shoots, traditional rice sikhye, handmade konjac jelly, cham tofu snacks, dried sweet potatoes, plain yogurt, and traditional seaweed.

On the first day of the festival, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the 3rd, the event was held for one hour around the Damyang Sports Complex, where the festival took place.

Ha Ji-hye, CEO of Hara In Company, who was active as Dudu Sister on MBC's 'Ddokddok Kids School' (formerly Bbo Bbo), served as the show host, and Lee Byung-no, the mayor of Damyang-gun, appeared on the broadcast to personally introduce the festival and promote the agricultural specialty products.

Mayor Lee Byung-no said, "I hope many people taste the excellent specialty products from the clean area of Damyang and enjoy the festival," adding, "We will do our best to revitalize the local economy and successfully carry out the festival during the remaining period."
