Song Ki-heon, a two-term lawmaker, was appointed as the Senior Deputy Floor Leader of the Democratic Party of Korea on the 1st. Song, a former legal professional, has held various positions within the party since entering the National Assembly, including Senior Deputy Chairman of the Policy Committee and Secretary of the Special Committee on Criminal Justice Reform.

Park Kwang-on, the new floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, announced the formation of the 4th floor leader team to lead the party in the upcoming general election next year. The floor spokesperson team includes many first-term lawmakers. Kim Han-gyu and Lee So-young were appointed as floor spokespersons, and Hong Sung-guk, recognized as an economic expert within the party, was appointed as the spokesperson in charge of economic affairs.

Min Byung-duk, a first-term lawmaker, was appointed as the Chief Secretary. On the afternoon of the same day, Floor Leader Park and the new leadership team are scheduled to explain the background of the appointments directly at the National Assembly.
