Contains Functional Individually Recognized Ingredient 'Lactium'
Health functional food specialist CJ Wellcare announced on the 27th the launch of 'Dr. Nutri Sleepmate Lactium' for comfortable sleep.
This product contains 'Lactium,' an individually recognized ingredient by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for improving sleep quality. Lactium, a milk-derived ingredient, has been confirmed through human application tests to reduce awakening time during sleep and increase total sleep time, the company explained.
It also contains 'zinc' for normal immune function and 'selenium,' an antioxidant that protects cells from harmful oxygen species. Taking one tablet a day before bedtime can improve sleep quality.
The sleep health market is estimated to be about 55 billion KRW as of last year, representing approximately a 15% increase compared to the previous year. A CJ Wellcare official stated, "Dr. Nutri Sleepmate Lactium is a product that helps greet a healthy morning through regular sleep habits," adding, "We will continue to introduce products with functions desired by consumers, such as sleep health and stress relief, through the Dr. Nutri brand with differentiated technology."
