Lunit Partners with Mi Indica Labs to Expand Distribution of Lunit Scope

Medical AI company Lunit announced on the 26th that it has signed a partnership with U.S. digital pathology platform company Indica Labs to provide an integrated digital pathology AI solution utilizing the AI biomarker platform 'Lunit Scope.'

Indica Labs is a digital pathology software and image analysis company based in New Mexico, USA. It is recognized as a leading player in the global digital pathology research field and offers various tissue analysis tools including the digital pathology platform 'HALO AP,' as well as HALO AI and HALO Link.


Under the partnership, Lunit will provide Indica Labs with various AI pathology analysis solutions, including 'Lunit Scope PD-L1,' which detects and analyzes the biomarker PD-L1 for non-small cell lung cancer. Indica Labs will offer an integrated digital pathology AI solution by applying Lunit Scope to its digital pathology image management platform HALO AP.


Steven Hassagen, CEO of Indica Labs, said, "The combination of digital pathology and AI to improve patient treatment through tissue-based research is Indica Labs' core goal," adding, "We hope the integrated solution of Lunit's AI pathology analysis and HALO AP will be an excellent tool to assist researchers' decisions." Lunit CEO Beom-seok Seo also stated, "We established this partnership to diversify our business, including expanding distribution channels for Lunit Scope products," and added, "This will be a great opportunity for laboratories and pathologists worldwide using Indica Labs' platform to experience improved workflows through Lunit Scope."
