On the 25th, Hankook Tire & Technology and Socar announced that they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen their strategic partnership at the Socar Seoul office in Seongsu D-Tower, Seoul, the previous day. Lee Yong-kwan, Executive Director of PC/LT Sales at Hankook Tire, and Kim Shin-myung, Head of Socar MX Division, attended the event.
Through this agreement, they will promote cooperation in various fields such as mobility business. By linking the T Station network and infrastructure, they will collaborate to improve the quality management of Socar car-sharing vehicles and expand service accessibility. Based on Socar vehicle data analysis, they will also establish a vehicle management system that predicts the condition of vehicles and tires in advance.
They also plan to operate Socar Zones at T Station stores nationwide. By transforming these into offline hubs, they aim to enhance accessibility while maximizing efficiency in vehicle management. Customers visiting T Station will be offered free Socar usage benefits. A free 2-hour Socar rental coupon will be provided to allow free movement until maintenance is completed. This can also be freely used at other Socar Zones.
