Power! more (Moa)! Yeongyang Cheongwoo Association conducted volunteer activities to improve the living environment for multicultural families.
The Yeongyang Cheongwoo Association and the Yeongyang-gun Multicultural Family Support Center signed a business agreement in 2022 and carried out volunteer activities this year as well as last year for multicultural families with vulnerable living conditions.
Despite the poor living environment due to the old house structure, the Yeongyang Cheongwoo Association united their efforts to provide a comfortable and cozy home for multicultural families facing economic difficulties to improve their quality of life. This volunteer activity served as an opportunity to raise awareness of helping multicultural families adapt well to the local community and lead happy family lives.
Jaehoon Jeong, president of the Cheongwoo Association, expressed his ambition to continue contributing to community integration by actively providing various volunteer services to multicultural families in need of housing environment improvements in cooperation with the Yeongyang-gun Multicultural Family Support Center (Director Seonjeong Lee).
County Governor Dochang Oh said, "Thank you for creating a comfortable and safe home for multicultural families living in poor housing conditions," and added, "We will continue to provide necessary support for the happiness of multicultural families."
