80% Containment of Fire at Miryang Hanguk Carbon Plant 2

Firefighters are extinguishing a fire at Korea Carbon Plant No. 2 in Miryang-si, Gyeongnam.

The fire that broke out at around 4:57 a.m. on the 21st at Korea Carbon's second factory in Miryang-si, Gyeongnam, was 80% extinguished by around 11 a.m.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the fire that spread to the mountain was initially extinguished, and they are currently working to put out the fire spreading inside and around the factory.
